Ceramic Painting Parties
Looking for a unique way to celebrate a bridal shower, crafting brunch, or casual gathering with friends? I've got you!
I’m a huge fan of hosting my friends for random crafting hangouts, and I've found that an enjoyable activity, such as pottery painting or hand-building pottery, helps create a relaxed vibe without the pressure of contestant conversation; also known as parallel play.
I'd love to help you curate something special for your next gathering!
At-Home Pottery Painting Party

Host a unique pottery painting hangout for small groups in Austin, Texas. Pick a theme and let's find the perfect add-on.

Hand-Building Pottery Party
Create your own one-of-a-kind pottery pieces. Less "class", more "crash course and yap, but I'm here if you need help or have questions."
Want to host but don't have the space? I'd be happy to welcome you and a small group into my space in South Austin.

FAQs
When booking, we'll agree on a date, time, and theme to help make your event (or casual hang!) even more special. On the day of the event, I'll bring all the supplies you and your guests will need except for tables and chairs. All services are booked for 2.5 hours.
PAINTING EVENT
24 Hours: Drying time for painted items.
48 - 72 Hours: Painted items get 2 coats of clear glaze to make them food safe and shiny!
1 - 2 Weeks: Painted masterpieces (now glazed) get fired at ~1800 degrees (F) to finish.
All finished pieces will be delivered at an agreed location.
Total: 1.5 - 3 weeks to receive your final pieces*.
CLAY MAKING EVENT
1 - 1.5 Weeks: Drying time for clay pieces. This time is dependent on the “chunkyness” and if there are any attachments in the pieces (ex. handles for mugs). This is SUCH an important step! If we try to speed up the drying, it's likely the piece won't survive the first firing.
24-48 Hours: Fully dried pieces are fired to ~1800 degrees (F) to take them from "mud/clay" to "ceramic"
48 - 72 Hours: Ceramic items cool down and get 2 coats of glaze to make them food safe and shiny!
1 - 2 Weeks: Ceramic masterpieces (now glazed) get fired at ~2200 degrees (F) to finish.
All finished pieces will be delivered at an agreed location.
Total: 2.5 - 4 weeks to receive your final pieces*. This time will vary according to clay pieces made and the number of participants.
*Please know there are a lot of risks involved when handling clay and ceramics. We're working with mud, paint, and fire - naturally, there's a small risk of something going wrong in the process, resulting in cracks, bubbles, or shattering.
