Octopus Mug

I designed the octopus shape so that its head can rest on the user's thenar web-space (the spot between the thumb and index finger). It has a nice weight to it, and you can then settle your fingers around the mug through the tenticles. It's a great feeling. Plus, Fred brings a lot of character to every sip.

Available for commission. Process takes 4-5 weeks to complete the piece before shipping (3 hrs to build, 2+ weeks to dry, 3 hrs to paint, firing, waiting for the firing to cool, glazing, firing again - you get the picture)
